![]() Yes, I would return to Mexico but probably not here unless the shortfalls are addressed. The Blue team were very noisy and some days it was like a Benidorm club 18-30 resort and not a quiet relaxing resort. On the last day I took a moonlight walk via the pool at 2300 and found over 30 loungers already reserved!!! The second point regarding loungers is the vast amount that were broken and still left around the pool even after telling staff they were broken. If you have a no reserving rule it needs to be enforced or everyone just gets up early and reserves on bulk. The next morning, I was by chance up at 0600 and made my way to the pool where I managed to secure a longer. We were then informed by a loud American couple “got to get up early to get a lounger”. Well on day 1 we headed to the pool at 0800 after a morning walk along the beach and only 4 loungers were free. Sun loungers, another hotel rule was no reserving of sun loungers. When this was mentioned to staff I was told “it is ok they are American and visit twice a year”. This a Mexico rule and not a hotel rule and again was blatantly ignored by all. Even worse was watching individuals, smoking, and eating in the pool, which again nothing was done about. This was obviously not enforced by any of the hotel staff. Hotel rules, the rules state no drinking or clothes to be warn in the pool. When I mentioned this the reception team tried to up sell me a privilege package which I wasn’t interested in. ![]() This was the first we heard of this and every time we arrived at the blue moon we were informed no tables were available. When we arrived, we were informed we would have to be privilege members to be able to make a reservation. We booked this hotel based on the facility to book other restaurants within the complex. ![]() Excellent salad counter only draw back was the selection of fruit was hit and miss. The pasta and noodle station and nice was also well run and choice was always good. Really enjoyed omelettes for breakfast and the fresh cooked meats and fish at lunchtime. Staff were attentive and food was always hot and available throughout the period the restaurant was open. You visit here you are not going to starve. The buffet restaurant was in my opinion, excellent. All facilities, if slightly tired were up to scratch. Room was lovely and big with a massive and very comfy bed. I understand Health and Safety isn’t big in Mexico and it was more by grim holding on for dear life that nobody fell out of the buggy on route. Arrived and driven to our room by a buggy which wasn’t big enough for a driver and 2 passengers. The sun lounger issue, the rules that nobody seem to follow, the inability to pre book other restaurants and the “quiet relaxing venue”. Overall, I have to say I was impressed with a few shortfalls. Package – All Inclusive Booked through TUI. ![]() ![]() The sun lounger issue, the rules that nobody seem to follow, the inability to pre book other restaurants and the “quiet relaxing venue”.Īrrived and driven to our room by a buggy which wasn’t big enough for a driver and 2 passengers. ![]()
